“Alright, now listen up, ‘cause I’m only gonna say this once. Havoc Squad is one of the most dangerous and skilled trump cards the Republic’s got shoved up its sleeves, and it’s for damn good reason. Before any of you are even close to being considered a candidate, I’m going to make your lives a living hell—and trust me, it’s gonna be a walk in the park compared to a routine mission—”
“…And if any of you decide you’ve got a smart comment to make about things like that, you’ll be bunking with 4X.”
“Forgive me for being so forward, but you’re more radiant than a Tatooine sunset”.
“I can’t think of anything sexier than a woman with a pile of credits and her own private army”.
“Of all my fantasies of you, shackled as an Imperial captive was never my favorite”.
“My dear, if you were a weapon, it could be only the most incendiary sort”.
“You brought my field disruptors! Give me two seconds, and I will give you a thanks like you’ve never seen”.
“I’ve completely stopped looking at other women, which should be physically impossible. Bottom line, I’m pretty sure I love you”.
“It’ll take five minutes for me to make a makeshift gag.”
Who says that Imperial captive one? I remember that one.
Also everything Vector says should be on this post.
Darmas Pollaran in the Smuggler quests! Quite a few of these are his quotes, actually.
Sten and Jeanne go on magical adventures through Dromund Kaas
And his ass
Other fun tidbits:
Nice door opening
(This isn’t even remotely close to done but I am super impatient and I must post the WIP. And also the huge-ass explanation I wrote ; ; )
So as most people know, I’ve been spending a while playing SWTOR. For giggles, I decided to make Jeanne in it—as a Sith Inquisitor. Two reasons:
One, Jeanne as a Sith is both hilarious and almost a little fitting;
and two, Xanthe Elbrick, who voices the female SI, is the closest voice match to Jeanne I’ve ever heard. Especially her snarky lines. (This is a really good example!)
Instead of trying to go specifically light or dark, I kind of just choose the options that fit what she might do in each situation—and thus far, she’s riding the neutral line pretty hard. She’s gotten maybe halfway to either a Light or a Dark tier before going back the other way. Interesting to observe, but man, this game really really wants you to pick a side. I can’t wait until the Neutral gear comes out ; ;
She’s specced as a Sorcerer, which is the healing/damage option, except all of her points are in Lightning because of course they are. I thought about Daylen in the Star Wars sense as well—and, after talking with Amy, figured he would probably be a Jedi Consular—a healing Sage, to be specific. Except he probably prefers to dress like a Knight, because pants.
There’s a bit of a twist in the Inquisitor storyline on Dromund Kaas that pretty much killed me, if only because it fits too perfectly into their family dynamic. So now my mind’s gone wild with AU and overarching stories and asdfghjkl I need to play through more of this.
Also, one more bit that I thought was funny: one of the very first missions for an Inquisitor is to “persuade” (shock the everloving shit out of, or negotiate with) an acolyte to give you information about a death at the Sith Academy. That acolyte is voiced by Greg Ellis, i.e. Cullen.
Now…BioWare has a lot of its favourite voice actors in this game. Jo Wyatt and Adam Howden are everywhere in the Empire, Brian Bloom does a few for the Republic, Gideon Emery’s here and there all over the place, etc. But not once have I seen anyone else voiced by Greg Ellis. Just that specific NPC, for that specific mission.
I’m half-convinced they did it just to fuck with me
So I feel really odd requesting this…but..
If any of my followers have SWTOR…would they be interested in…partnering up with me at some point…
We could be the two different classes on any planet and just quest together? ; ;
(I’d just say LET’S JUST HANG OUT but pretty much all of my characters are on Thana Vesh and I don’t know of that many people who picked that server)
ANOTHER QUESTION (yes I know, I am full of them), this time for the SWTOR players:
Getting my pre-order in now. Do I want the Standard Edition or the Digital Deluxe Edition?
(Here, have another drawing of Dibella because wow I have already been going through withdrawals for this game)
(also augh why is tomorrow Sunday, I have things that need to get done yesterday ; ; )
Behold, my characters for the SWTOR beta. |D
First is Dibella, my Sith Inquisitor (Assassin, though if I play again I might try Sorcerer); restarted her so I could play with Abby and Steph, got her up to a level 13.
Second is Eliot, whom I spent most of my time on this weekend; she’s a Trooper (Commando), and she got to 17 before the beta was over. That’s Aric Jorgan with her. He is pretty much amazing.
Third is Rialla, my Jedi Knight (Sentinel); she was my first of the characters and I didn’t play her at all this weekend, in order to try out more of the classes. Got her to 17 too.
Funnily enough, SWTOR was like…one of the only things here at home that managed to keep my mind off sickness and focus on other stuff, hahaha. Such a great thing to keep my spirits up during this whole situation.
