I just wanted to say (now that I’ve beaten ME3 a while back) thank you for answering my ask about it all those months ago! And also I think you had something you wanted to say about how they handled Thane but couldn’t say it at the time due to spoilers. Still want to say it? Because I wish I could talk about ME3 with more people…

AND I DO WANT TO SAY IT but so many other people have put it a lot more succinctly than I have! I’ve been seeing some really awesome discussions about the way they handled Thane’s character on my dash for the past few months—talldarkbishoujo, madsabroo, and goddessofcheese all come to mind—and the longer it’s been since the end, the more I am really seriously unimpressed!

Basically me for a week
(for a lot more reasons than just Thane but he’s sort of become the poster boy for them; y u do this, man)
- Cheese: hanging around the Citadel
- Cheese: showing him the sights
- Cheese: trying food and realizing he likes some of it
- Cheese: I imagine food was somethign that was generally nutrient-high but not flavorful in his time; the least time to prepare and easiest to carry around would be preferable
- Cheese: the idea of *enjoying* a meal outside of "hey I got to eat and I didn't get shot at, win win" might be alien to him
- Bali: ...his version of the Citadel date
- Bali: oh my god
- Bali: that would be hilarious

- Bali: they end up getting followed by a small crowd of hanar
